I've got three ride-outs this week! All in Palm Springs...at 6 in the morning. So it takes forever to get there...and I have to be there early so...Sleeping early for me. One is tomorrow...on my holiday. The other is Friday the 13th...I hope that's fun! The other is on Sunday, my study day, and then I have class for 8 hours the next day. WOOH. NO REST FOR ME! I still have to get my specks project done...but now that I feel better about passing my EMT class...I'm not so worried about Pumps. I can always take it again later. Or do lots of extra credit.

Now that I've got my ride-outs, I don't feel so freaked out about other things. The other day I made some reckless panic decisions. I was thinking about taking a semester off and disappearing. There are people I need to see again. The other choice was to maybe join the C's again-if, and ONLY if they would put me on their fire crew. But then I would be gone a whole year, and have to live up in Redding.

Luckily, I'm done spazing out on EMT for now. I'm not nervous at all. I know I'll ace the written test in two weeks, and the skills isn't for 4 more weeks and I already know that will be cake if I practice. I got this down. The only thing I have to be nervous about the ride outs is Palms Springs is famous for being predictably unpredictable and the medics love giving the students every opportunity to work. SO-its study time for me.

GAH! Why must you always screw me over?! You had my order in your truck yesterday and its an overnight delivery....WHY THE FUCK DO I HAVE TO WAIT TILL MONDAY TO GET IT?!
I WANT MY GOD DAMNED PHONE ALREADY!!!

The FedEx guy is lucky I'll be in school when he drops it off, or I'd leave him a nice signature: Fuck you.

My ambulance ride-out = awesome

To the poor seasoned medics...I'm sure it sucked...and I was hoping for shootings or something epic, but I think what I had was good for an ambulance virgin.

But seriously...I was hoping for something epic...I was in San Bernadino!! But no, only sick people. All medical and one lame traffic collision.

I also learned that I freakin' am in-love with this stuff and I am going to love doing this. And that I'd better learn this junk and become less award really fast cause firefighters do more talking than the emt/medics.
